If you need to make a larger hole in some wood a huge drill bit is not always the answer or practical. But these spade bits are ideal for making larger holes, they have a wider end which helps to shave through the wood to make a hole in the required diameter.

In this set there are 3 sizes from 1/2" up to 1" in size. They can fit a drill driver as well as a full sized drill. They are made from hardened steel which is ideal for cutting through wood.
