The strawberry alpine low growing compact plants produce an abundance of small strawberries with a sweet delicate flavour. These plants re-seed very easily and you don't have to throw out runners like other varieties . Alpine strawberries are smaller-fruited than standard types but they have a very distinct flavor and make excellent ground cover.
