These dried mealworms are perfect for birds as they provide an excellent source of high-energy proteins providing essential food all year round. Such proteins are especially important for birds including fledglings and adults.  They are true gourmet for wild birds and should be fed as often and lavishly as possible.

Mealworms are the larvae of the Yellow Mealworm Beetle and are fed on bran or milled cereals. They are both clean food and are exceptionally high in protein at 48% and fat at 40%.  They are dried to retain goodness and are a tasty treat for a variety of wild birds including Robins, Blackbirds, and Thrushes.
