The system uses flakes of Calcium Chloride (CaCl2) which have a high affinity to water and readily attract excess humidity from the air by a simple chemical process. Eventually the liquid absorbed by the crystals will begin to collect in the base of the moisture trap to be poured out leaving the the crystals to function effectively for up to 2-3 months.

The trap is capable of absorbing up to 1000ml of water with its initial fill and can be easily refilled or topped up using the Kontrol Krystals Resealable Refill Pack. The Kontrol Dehumidifier System is ideal for caravan, boats, utility rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobes and cupboards.
