The border spade from Silverline is perfect for digging soil in preparation for when you're planting and sowing within your garden and has a more compact design compared to a digging spade and can be used for working on raised beds for turning soil without damaging plants and shrubs, 

The border spade features a polypropylene shaft with a PD handle which makes it more reliable and easy to use and manoeuvre.
